Description
Kabila means tribe or community in Swahili. Our kabila designs were born with our desire to pay homage to West African artistry and cultures. This shared heritage is filled with traditional yet creative designs. Whether rich with spiritual or cultural symbolism or simply decorative, the West African kabila has had a tremendous influence in ornamental handicrafts throughout history.
The kabila anklets are made of a 24 carat gold overlay with a twisted open ringed chain. Dangling around the chain are horn-shaped simulated (coral or onyx) held by 24 carat gold encasements, each etched with crescent moons and palm leaves. The kabila anklets are designed with the spirit of freedom and fun. Wear while barefoot on the beach, or with a pair of sandals in the summer - be playful and creative!
