Kabila means tribe or community in Swahili. Our kabila designs were born with our desire to pay homage to West African artistry and cultures. This shared heritage is filled with traditional yet creative designs. Whether rich with spiritual or cultural symbolism or simply decorative, the West African kabala has had a tremendous influence in ornamental handicrafts throughout history.
The kabila earrings are made of a duo of horn-shaped simulated (coral or onyx) held by 24 carat gold encasements, each etched with crescent moons and palm leaves. Dangling from a twisted gold open ringed chain the Kabala earrings are designed with the spirit of styling freedom in mind. You will feel playful and creative wearing these earrings, which can be worn in multiple ways.
